The short version: we only collect what you share when you register or contact us, we use it to run our program and keep your child safe, and we never sell it. You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time.
Who we are
Beyond the Spectrum Sports ("we," "us") runs inclusive youth soccer for autistic and neurodivergent kids in the Las Vegas area. This policy explains how we handle information on this website and through our registration and other forms. Questions? Email hello@btssports.org.
What we collect
We collect only what a parent or guardian shares with us when registering a child, ordering merch, donating or contacting us. This may include:
- About you: your name, email address, phone number, and an emergency contact.
- About your child: name, date of birth or age, soccer experience, jersey size, and, only if you choose to share them, how your child communicates, what would help them enjoy playing, and allergies or medical notes our staff should know about.
- Registration details: your agreement to our participation waiver, your photo permission choice, and which season and team your child is in.
- Payments: a record of what you paid and when. Card details are handled by our payment processor, Zeffy. We never see or store your full card number.
Questions about your child's needs are optional. Please share only what you're comfortable with.
This website itself doesn't ask you to create an account and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.
How we use it
- To process your registration and contact your family about schedules, teams and updates.
- To plan the season: age groups, schedules, locations and staffing.
- To prepare for your child, including anything you've told us helps them enjoy playing, and to respond in an emergency.
- To reply to your questions and send updates about our program.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing from other companies.
Children's information
Our registration form is meant to be completed by a parent or legal guardian, not by children. We only collect information about a child that their parent or guardian gives us. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, email us and we'll delete it.
Photos
We will not post photos or videos of your child on our website or social media without your permission.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. Only the Beyond the Spectrum Sports team can see your answers. Coaches see only what they need to safely run practices and games, such as medical notes and emergency contacts. We use a few trusted services to run our program, and they store or process information on our behalf:
- Google (Forms, Sheets, Drive and Gmail) to collect and store form responses and signed waivers, and to send email, including a copy of your signed waiver.
- Zapier to send us a notification and send you a confirmation email when you submit the form.
- Zeffy to securely process registrations, merch orders and donations, and to send receipts. We never see or store your full card details.
- Cloudflare to host this website and forward email sent to our btssports.org addresses.
We may also share information if required by law or to protect the safety of a child or participant.
How long we keep it
We keep registration information while your child is in our program and for a reasonable time afterward for our records and waitlist. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
How we protect it
Responses are stored in password-protected accounts that only our team can access. No method of storing information online is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your family's information safe.
Your choices
- See or update your information: email us and we'll send it to you or correct it.
- Delete your information: email us and we'll remove it from our records.
- Stop hearing from us: reply to any of our emails and ask to be removed.
Nevada residents
We do not sell personal information. If you have questions about your rights under Nevada law, contact us at the email below.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll let families on our list know by email.
